This was my first project abroad in 2003 and since then I went on to manage and complete 12 more projects for Hyatt in Baku. Azerbaijan was recently free from Russian control, but effects of Russian architecture was heavily evident. It was a difficult task to harmonize Russian and modern architecture styles, but the project was such a success that Hyatt has been awarding us as a main sub-contractor since then.
